Obituary of Mildred L. Murphy

Mildred Murphy of Webster passed away at the age of 78, after a brief illness, on November 14th. Mildred is survived by her loving husband, Edward J. Murphy; sons, Leonard (Lisa) Burton, Thomas (Janine) Burton, James (Barbara) Burton, John (Amy) Burton; daughter, Patricia Burton (Rob Weber); sister, Joyce (Robert) Hayward; brother, Everett (Jacqueline) Oppenheim; grandchildren, Linda Ferner (Chad Comstock), Jayla and Jocelyn Burton, Nichole, John and Jacob Burton, Paige, Emma and Samuel Jones; great-grandson, Skyler Cosco; step-children, Edward (Gayle) Murphy, Terrence (Pam) Murphy, Timothy Murphy, Cara (Randy) Watkins; 5 step-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and good friends. Millie was an avid card and game player. Special thanks to the nurses on 4800 at Rochester General and to the caring staff at the Palliative Center for Caring at the Heritage. Friends may call at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Rd., Tuesday 4-7 PM. Mildred's funeral service will be held Wednesday 10 AM in Creation Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Rd., Pittsford, where interment will follow.
