Obituary of Peter V. Cimino

Peter V. Cimino of Penfield passed away peacefully October 14, 2010 at the age of 96 years, leaving his wife of 73 years, Adeline. He is survived by 3 children, Marlene (Donald) Maggio, Peter (Tina) Cimino and Bruce Cimino; 13 grandchildren, Debra (Joseph) Tronolone, Lynn Marie (Randy) Catalano, Russell (Patricia) Militello, Peter (Jennifer) Cimino, Cheri (William) Bailey, Alexandra, Christopher and Nicholas Cimino; 9 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Eugene (Eileen) Cimino, Larry (Rita) Cimino and Frank (Ann) Cimino. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends during his last days, supporting his spiritual journey home. Peter had a long career as a freelance artist. He retired from RG&E Art and Display Department after 10 years of service. He was a Past President of Sons of Italy (Vince Lombardi Lodge). Peter was an incredible man who touched the lives of many people and will be long remembered as an inspiration to all who knew him. He gave freely his creative talent to the community. Second to art was his passion for dancing and he enjoyed both with his loving Adeline. Special thanks to HCR and the wonderful aides and friends at the Legacy Senior Community. Peter's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, October 18th at St. Joseph's Church, 43 Gebhardt Road, Penfield at 11 AM. Entombment, White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Peter's memory.
