Obituary of Charles Bray Manchester

Charles Bray Manchester passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2010. He was predeceased by his first wife, Helene Manchester. Survived by his wife, Diana W. Manchester; 2 sons, Michael (Paula) and Christian (Mamie) Manchester; daughter, Elizabeth (Gary) Ferner; step children, Jeff (Michelle) Berry, Jason Berry and Lynn (David) Ryder; brothers, David (Margaret) Manchester, John Paige; sister, Mary Lis (Robert) Barton; 6 grandchildren, Julia Manchester, Jane, Elise and Lily Manchester; Grace, Leni, Allison and Neil Ferner; step grandchildren, Kelsey and Jacob Berry, and Eli Ryder. Several nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of German Town Academy & Haverford College of Philadelphia, PA, past president of Penfield Rotary, and member of Board of Managers YMCA. Friends may call Wednesday, 4-7PM at the Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home 1704 Penfield Rd. His funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, 10:00AM at the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation 1957 Five Mile Line Rd. Inurnment in Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the YMCA of Greater Rochester 444 E. Main St. Victor, NY or to the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation in his memory.
