Although I did not personally know Mrs. McAlpine, through her son Bob, I did get to know her somewhat through Bob's story sharing about his wonderful mother. She sounded like an amazing, courageous, loving mother. Her recent visit to her grandaughter's graduation party was one of the pleasant memories Bob's family will cherish forever. My thoughts and prayers are with the McAlpine family in the loss of a remarkable woman who will be missed by her family.
