Obituary of Donald L. Bailey

Dr. Donald L. Bailey of Penfield died October 23, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Florence; daughter and son-in-law, Donna Marie & Eric Treiber; sister, Bonnie Drew of Poughkeepsie, NY; brother, Lawrence of Richardson, TX; brother-in-law, Donald Beck of East Amhurst, NY; and many nieces and nephews. Dr. Bailey was a Korean War Army veteran. He was the retired Associate Superintendent of Penfield Central School District, where he worked for 20 years. He earned a B.A. from Buffalo State College, and an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Buffalo. He played violin in Eastman's New Horizons Orchestra, and was one of the original members of that group. Friends may call Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Rd. Funeral Services will be held privately.
