Obituary of Barbara S Auer

Barbara Smith Auer of Pittsford died Thursday, October 15, 2009 at age 77. Predeceased by her husband, Theodore. Barbara is survived by her children; Jeffrey (Paula), Christopher (Jane), Laurie (Anthony) Sorge and Maggie (Gregg) Herman; grandchildren, Emily (Cooper) Steele, Ben Auer, Ellen Auer, Timothy Sorge, Margaret Auer, Molly Auer, Kerry Auer, Hannah Sorge, Jack Auer, Abby Herman; great grandchildren, Carter and Jack Steele. Barbara is also survived by many life long friends. Barb worked at various area churches as an administrative assistant and lastly at Farm Credit Service. She recently had the opportunity to plan and celebrate her 60th high school reunion from Monroe High School which gave her great joy. Friends are invited to call at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road, Penfield on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. A Memorial Service for Barbara will be celebrated on Saturday, 11:00am at Christ Episcopal Church, 36 South Main St., Pittsford.
