Obituary of Catherine B. Devney

Catherine B. Devney (Craig) of Brighton passed away Saturday July 18, 2009. Predeceased by her parents, Archibald and Edna Craig; brother, A. Stuart Craig; son-in-law, James A. Houghton. Catherine is survived by her loving husband, John F. Devney, Sr.; son, John Jr. (Barbara); daughters, Mary Devney, Patricia (fiance Joseph Brugnoni) Houghton, Sally (James) Adams; 5 grandchildren, Heather (Justin) Grant, Meredith (fiance Chris Mullens) Devney, Katie (Justin) Hill, Courtney (Scott) Hawkins, Craig Houghton; 3 great-grandchildren, Francis and Felicity Grant and Lauren Hill. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of The Friendly Home for the loving care given to Catherine. Friends may call Monday, 1-3 and 6-8 PM at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Rd. Catherine's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Thomas More Church, 2617 East Ave., Rochester, 14610. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
