Obituary of Herbert H. Graf
Herbert H. Graf of Rochester died suddenly, while bowling on January 14, 2013 at 89 years young. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 52 years, Elizabeth Tulley Graf. Herbert is survived by his 4 children, Eric Graf (Roger Richmond), Elaine (Michael Chronik) Graf, Susan (Vance) Carpenter and Jane Graf; 5 grandchildren, Michael (Eileen) Dimino, Steven (Leslie) Carpenter, Katie (Kevin) Richards, Thomas Carpenter and Brian (Melissa) Podlesh; 4 great-grandchildren, Jacob, Penelope and Mia Dimino and Brooke Wells. Herbert was an avid fisherman, hunter, golfer and bowler. He was a 43 year employee of the University of Rochester where he was an applied research optician.
