Passed away peacefully on December 23, 2024 at the age of 92. He is predeceased by his wife, Barbara, his parents, Anicet Jean and Marie, brother, Ronald, great grandchild, Andrew Pietropaolo, and his son-in-law, Peter Osterling. Eugene is survived by his children, Deborah (Terry) Rodman, Jacqueline (Alan Gaynor) Monette, Barbara (Jim) Dildine, Diane Osterling (Kevin Datthyn), and Carol (Derek) Hamilton; grandchildren, Patrick(Sarah) Rodman, Rebecca (Doug) Fogal, JonathanRodman, Sarah Rodman, Adam (Kelly) Dildine, Sarah (Andy) Pietropaolo, Megan Dildine, Kaitlyn (Kevin) Berube, Ben Osterling, Emmalyn (Dale) Mattice, Danielle (Jake) Miller and Nick Vitalone; step children, Lance (Nicki) Wentworth, Lee Ann (Glen) Zaleski, Lawrence (LeeAnn) Wentworth; step grandchildren, Jeff (Brittney) Wentworth, Andrew (Chelsea)Wentworth, Heather Young (Larry Booth), Justin (Tina) Jubert, Michael Wentworth, Christopher (Bridget) Wentworth, Jamie (Brandy) Wentworth and 28 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Janet Monette and nephews, Marc, Pierre, and Paul Monette.

Services will be held privately for the family.
