Obituary of Michael Roy Sargent

Peacefully on December 6, 2024, at age 45.  Predeceased by his mother, Shirley P. Sargent.  Survived by his treasured children, Camaron, Collin, and Cuyler; father, Roy (Barbara) Sargent; brothers, Dan (Sue) Sargent, Brad Sargent; nephews, Adam Sargent and Luke Sargent; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and several close friends.

Known to many as “Sarge,” Michael was fun-loving, sweet, and a friend to everyone.  Michael had many interests, particularly the culinary arts and creating fine cuisine.  He loved having projects to work on around the house.  He was adventurous and enjoyed exploring. He relished spending time with family and his many friends and loved having dogs in his life.   He enjoyed many concerts.  Above all else, he loved his three boys fiercely and nothing brought him the immense joy that they did.  He relished his role as dad and beamed with pride whenever he spoke of his boys. 

Calling hours will be on Monday, December 16, 2024 at Jennings, Nulton and Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road, Penfield from 4-7 pm.
