Obituary of Eugene J. Ziegler
Passed away on December 6, 2024, surrounded by his family. Gene is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Sue Ann; his son, Jim (Kristin) Ziegler and daughter, Colleen Amos; grandchildren, Annaliese, Kurt, Bridget, and Jake; his siblings, Carl (Leslie) Ziegler, Marlene Moszak, and Thea Valone; dear friend and business partner, David Crosby.
Gene was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and he served in the Vietnam War. He was co-founder and co-owner of the original Jeremiah's Tavern on Monroe Avenue from 1978-2006. After his retirement, he loved to hunt, fish and watch his grandchildren at their sporting events.
The family will be holding a visitation on Thursday, December 19 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Living Word Assembly of God Church, 2344 Ridge Road, Ontario, NY where a service will also be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment at White Haven Memorial Park will be held privately for the family.
