We will miss Dad. But we will have Dad always in our hearts and memories. Mom, it was a wonderful tribute that you orchestrated for the one man you always loved. We received a card with the following poem and it truly says it all:
"His Journey's Just Begun"
"Don't think of him as gone away--
His journey's just begun,
life holds so many facets--
this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing
That we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched...
for nothing loved is ever lost--
and he was loved so much."
E. Brenneman
Love you both,
Crystal and Kernon

I knew Paul for 44 years at Gleasons. Had a ball with him. Sally, I met you about 35 years ago when I brought my dog out for a run in the back lot at the house. Just seems like yesterday I met Paul and the time has gone by so fast. My deepest Sympathies to you and the kids.

My Memories of grandpa were when we went fishing one day at North Ponds Park and Grandpa was sitting on a stool left by Jerry it was old and while I was fishing i heard a loud snapping noise and heard a crashing sound I thought it was his pole and then saw him laying on the ground. Then I heard him say "Jesus Christ someone get the hot dogs we got some firewood over here." another one was when I was sitting in the van Grandpa was slapping the window not to brush his truck off with no pants on. Then Timmy came out saying that Grandpa doesn't want his Truck being brushed off then my mom said"Hey Tim go tell Grandpa to get some pants on.
