For many years, Jack was an excellent singer and valued member of St. Joseph’s Adult Folk Group. It was a pleasure being with him at the group’s many activities. I’ll forever remember his gentle nature.

Jack was a volunteer at Highland Hospital for many many years. He brought comfort to so many and he will be missed by all he came in contact with. A wonderful, kind and caring man with a great sense of humor.

Jack was a very active member of Penfield Rotary. He joined in 1983 and quickly, like I did in 1980, became an "actor" in the Club's annual musical parodies. He served on the Youth Exchange Committee and participated whenever needed or opportunities arose in Club service projects and fund raisers. The Penfield community was enriched because of Jack.

Uncle Jack was one of the kindest men I've ever known and was a huge influence in my teenaged life and beyond. While visiting the family in Mexico City Uncle Jack took me to a bull fight, to the Ballet Folklorico, to visit Teotihuacan where we climbed the Pyramid of the Moon, and paid for my 6 weeks at the Mexican North American Cultural Institute to learn Mexican Spanish and culture. The memories of Uncle Jack are a blessing that I will treasure forever.
