Obituary of Edna Louise Brown

Louise Brown (Penfield, Brighton) peacefully died on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at age 97. Louise was married to her husband George for 71 years who predeceased her in November 2020. Louise is survived by her son Larry (Darlene), daughters Carolyn (Bill), Alison (Glenn), and Elaine (Tom).  Also survived by her 4 granddaughters, Jennifer, Laura, Wendy, and Callie; 5 great grand-children, special friends and caregivers Cathi and Sheila, and brother in-law Paul Brown. 
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at St. Johns - Hawthorne for their care and love provided to our mom during her stay.

A celebration of Louise and George's lives will be held at the Penfield United Methodist Church, 1795 Baird Rd, (Penfield) on Saturday October 19, at 1 p.m. followed by a friendship gathering at the church. Private burial at White Haven Memorial Park will precede the service at the church.

Per Louise's wishes, memorials may be made to the National Resource Defense Council (NRDC.org), an organization our parents supported for many years. The NRDC works to safeguard the earth—its people, its plants and animals, and the natural systems on which all life depends.
