Born in Wayland, NY March 8, 1941 and died on July 21, 2024.
Predeceased by parents, Francis and Marjorie Jones; brother, James; sisters, Gilda Lecceardone, Margaret Kemp and Maureen Derleth. Norbert is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Norbert served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Vietnam War as a Battle Tank and Heavy Equipment Mechanic. He retired from Pittsford Mendon Central Schools as a facilities maintenance employee.
Norbert's passions and hobbies were spending time with his large extended family, adding love and humorous pranks whenever possible. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting with family and friends. He had compassion for all animals, especially cats.
Norbert was a kind and loving man and will truly be missed by his family.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St, Matthews Church, 6591 Richmond Mills Rd., Livonia, NY 14487. His Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. at the church and his interment will be at St. Michael's Cemetery, 4324 Shelly Road, Livonia, NY 14487. A luncheon held at St. Matthew's Church immediately following.
