In Loving Memory of Kathleen Dacey Rau
With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Kathleen Dacey Rau on July 10th, 2024. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Kathy's memory will live on through her children, Colleen Long (Abraham), Caroline Rau, and Matthew Rau; her grandchildren, Eliana Long, Annalise Long, and Aaron Long; and her siblings, Terry Dacey (Janet) and Patricia McMillan (David). She was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Barbara Dacey. She will also leave behind nieces and nephews who will miss her.
Kathy was a woman of many passions. She found joy in crocheting, crafting jewelry, and coloring. She delighted in making delicious meals for her loved ones. Kathy also made an impact as a swim coach, inspiring many young swimmers including her daughters, Colleen and Caroline. She cherished trips to Canandaigua Lake, where she found peace and happiness.
Please join us for calling hours on Tuesday,July 23rd at Harloff Funeral Home, 803 South Washington Street, East Rochester, from 5pm-7pm and on Wednesday, July 24th for Kathy's Funeral Mass at 10:30am, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 43 Gebhardt Road, Penfield to celebrate Kathy's life.
