Here are some words of remembrance from her friend, Rona Wyner

Annette Lucht lived her life to the fullest.  She died after a long, valiant fight with cancer.   Born in Rochester, NY to Michael & Rose Spinelli, she is survived by her brother, Michael Spinelli (Maryann) and her nieces, Gina (Joe) LoConte and April Mingos and her many loving friends.

Annette graduated from St. Agnes High School and went on to get certification in business.  She married her beloved husband, Robert Lucht, and together they
enjoyed 52 years of marriage until he passed away in 2012.

They lived life joyously.  They traveled; they loved boating and upgraded their boats to larger yachts several times.  During the summer they spent almost every weekend on the boat.  On Fridays, Annette would pack up the car and when Bob got home from work off they’d go. They loved their time with their boating friends, Sue and Scott Stanton.  Annette also loved her concerts and trips with Gina.  She loved her many animals.  Annette and Bob were each other’s best friends and together they enjoyed a wonderful life together.

Annette was office manager at Ontario Hearing for over 30 years where she was her super-organized OCD self.  She adored her job and her years working there and made lasting friendships with John & Shirley McNamara, Andrea Segmond and Sandy & Steve Schmaltz.  She loved them dearly.

After Bob passed she met her dear friend, Rona, and together they traveled the world and went on cruises and many of her beloved safaris. They looked after each other. They were extreme opposites but were like sisters … a little like Grace and Frankie. Two other special friends in her building were Lynne and Kathy.

Annette truly loved Rona’s family — Alan and Anne and the entire Toronto gang were very special to her.  She visited and stayed with them often and they came to see her even more frequently – she would tell you that they were her extended family.

Annette will be missed by so many but remembered forever by those whose lives she touched.  If we have inadvertently omitted mentioning other special friends, you know who you are and know she loved you.
