Obituary of Alris Baty
Alris (Al) Horace Baty 1953 - 2024
Fairport- Al is predeceased by his wife of 26 years, Joan Baty, his parents, James and Mary Lee (Powell) Baty, and his brother James (Jim) Baty.
He is survived by his sons, Robert (Dawn) Hayes, John (Debbie) Hayes, and Robert Baty. Brother Adrian (Kay) Baty, Hankamer, TX, Sister Ava (Pete) Lee, Rock Spring, GA, Sister Alva Barrett, Wichita, KS, his grandchildren, Saul and Farasha and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Al was raised in Anahuac, TX where he attended school. He spent his adult life working on offshore oil rigs and many years in the crane industry. He loved watching Houston professional football, fishing, and golf. Upon retirement he relocated to Fairport, NY to spend time with family and friends.
A gathering for Al will be Friday, March 22nd from 10am – 11am at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road. Those wishing are invited to come to the funeral home at 10am to process to White Haven Memorial Park for his graveside service.
