I have realized that when some people get quite old, they really deserve rest. Elsa and Phil were two who tirelessly lived out their faith in the service of others. Phil gave me such support through my years in Rochester, and then I got to know Elsa--and remember our attempts to work with a woman with major addiction issues. These two were saints before they died. My eyes are filled with tears of sadness for their loss, and gladness for the gifts of their lives and their well-earned peace.

Oh...how we loved both your mom and dad! Mozart Parties at our house and various choir activities with Incarnation. They were very loved!

My condolences to family and friends who knew Elsa. She was an amazing woman who I will always remember as kind, loving and very patient with me and Steve during our rambunctious high school years.

Condolences to the children. I was a neighbor on the next street, Coachman Drive, in Penfield, as our children grew up in this safe haven…… no worries as children went to and fro…..even to the swamp at the end of the streets…. In later years I saw Rev. Phil at A Penfield gym.

I remember Elsa when my husband Don Jones worked with her at the environmental lab. She was a quiet but kind person who made me feel she was happy I was in her presence. I saw her and Phil as a lovely married couple.

Mrs Schaefer was a thoughtful, kind, and an awesome example of how everyone should live. She was my friend and offered me friendship and helped me when I was younger. I will always remember how she treated me. She will definitely be missed
