Obituary of Magda P. White

February 3, 2024 at age 92.

Predeceased by her husband; US Army 1^st Lieutenant Harold C. White Jr., parents; Angelo and Clelia Corino and brother, Guido Corino.  Magda is survived by her sons; Harold (Barbara), Marc (Donna), Michael and Matthew (Thuy), grandchildren; Jacqueline (Charles), Michelle and Jared. Great-granddaughter; Aunya, and family and friends in The United States and Italy.

Magda was born in Alba, Italy and attended Cambridge University in England and The University of Grenoble in France where she met her future husband, Harold Clinton White Jr. They were married in 1956 in her home town of Canelli in Italy. Magda’s greatest joy in life was her four sons. She was a devoted wife, mother and devout Catholic, a parishioner at St. Joseph’s Church in Penfield, NY. Magda was a teacher’s assistant at Council Rock Primary School in The Brighton Central School District. She thoroughly enjoyed working with all of the faculty and children there during her 27-year tenure. 

Magda was an elegant and intelligent woman with a witty sense of humor and a big heart. She was an avid reader, expert needle-pointer and seamstress. Magda cherished all of her family and she was loved dearly and admired by all. She will be forever missed.

No calling hours. Magda’s funeral mass will be celebrated Monday February 12 at 11AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 43 Gebhardt Rd. Penfield, NY 14526. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery, 1975 Baird Rd. Penfield, 14526.
