Obituary of Maureen A. Lutomski

Maureen A. Lutomski, 72, of Penfield, NY passed away peacefully on Monday, January 292024. 

Predeceased by her parents William and Doris Holleran, and brother Brian (Sharman) Holleran.

Maureen is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Mark; children, William (Christi); Jeffrey; Elizabeth (Daniel) Fannin, grandchildren, Harper; Ryan and Mairenn, brother, Michael (Susan); Patrick (Wynnvan), sisters, Mary (Paul) Forrest; Patricia (Tom) Beckwith, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews.

Maureen was born in Elmira, NY where she attended Catholic schools. She received her Associates degree in Accounting from Corning Community College. In 1971, Maureen relocated to Rochester, NY with her husband. In the early years of their marriage Maureen worked as a waitress at numerous restaurants around Rochester, such as The Glen Edith, Maplewood Inn and Monroe Golf Club. She went on to work at Rochester Telephone and LiDestri Food and Drink holding several different office positions. In 2012 Maureen suffered a stroke and was unable to return to work. She spent many hours attending clinics at the York Wellness and Rehabilitation Institute at Nazareth University. The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful experiences Maureen had while working with the students, faculty, clinic participants and their caregivers. 

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 8th 3:00-7:00pm at Jennings, Nulton and Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Rd, Penfield. Funeral Service Friday, February 9th at 11:00am at St. Joseph’s Church 43 Gebhardt Rd, Penfield, NY.
