I'm so sorry to be hearing this news just now of Laurie. Also known as Mrs Taylor to me during my childhood growing up on Creek Hill Lane.
My heart is broken as I've just recently lost my father in August and I've been making a lot of trips back home to Rochester to be with him. Every time I drove by on Creek Street, I always looked at "Tiff's house". Tiff has always held a special part of my heart and memory of growing up in Rochester in the 80s-90's when I moved away. I've missed Tiffany all these years. My heart is happy as I'm just now seeing in the wonderful slideshow how everyone grew up and turned out.
Laurie was by far one of the cool mom's. She was cool. Bobby, Tiff, Jaime the cousins...all cool. I felt when I got to hang out with them, I was one of them. I got to play Nintendo, watch MTV and ride BMX bikes all at their place.
That smile of Laurie was so infectious. The biggest smile ever. I'm so glad she was a part of my childhood, and thankful for her and the entire Taylor family being in my early life.
All my love,
Todd Mathers

My most treasured memories of Laurie are of us kids playing in the dirt piles after her parents built their house on Creek Street. Other great memories are of us kids playing many back yard games until the sun went down. We played between our two houses, on the large swing set that Donald built as well as the backyard pool and all of the wonderful picnics our two families had together. Winter time included building forts and sledding down the backyard hill.
As we got older summers at Cedar Point in the Thousand Islands was a major event that carried through from childhood to parenthood. Laurie and I learned to water ski behind her dads boat at an early age. I remember being at a campsite sitting around the fire at Cedar Point when someone saw a huge storm rolling in very fast. Laurie and her kids as well as me and my kids ran for cover. We all survived but there were great stories to tell as how wet everyone got in their tents that night.
I miss knowing that Laurie has left us but will forever treasure the memories of wonderful times we had.

The time will come when all of us say goodbye
Feel that aching in your heart
Leaving you broken inside
But we're never really gone
As long as there's a memory in your mind. Love to you always. Bob Taylor

We are so sorry for your loss. At least once a year we would get together - the Ole Champion Group - for a luncheon or picnic. Great memories... the pictures attached - in house was last year 2023 and the outside picture was the group in 2022. We will always - always remember Laurie's contagious Smile and bright Spirit!
God Bless.

Deepest sympathies to all of the family. We shared good times in high school with her and JoAnne. She was a good person and always had a smile on her face. God will watch over her and your memories comfort you.
