Marion E. Stowell Obituary

Marion (Blood) Stowell passed away peacefully, January 18, 2024 at age 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Robert Stowell. Bob and Marion were married for 66 years. Loving mother of Bruce (Rita) Stowell of Grants Pass, Oregon, daughter Susan (Al) Bradley of Penfield and the late Linda Stowell. Cherished Grandma of Jessica Stowell, Alexander Stowell, Michael (Julie) Bradley, Megan (Zachary) Surace, Erin (Jonathon) Brower and Amy (Cody) Ponder. Great grandmother of Andrew, Carmen, Henry, Taylor and Camden. Marion was also predeceased by eight brothers and sisters.




Marion grew up in rural Vermont before spending the last 65 years of her life in the Rochester area. She never lost her independent Yankee spirit and was always there for anyone who needed a hand. She was most happy in her kitchen preparing big family meals especially for holidays. Her pecan pie and peanut butter brownies were legendary.
