Dear Amy, Marcy, Gerry & all of Nancy’s precious family. My heart goes out to each of you. Nancy was a lady in every sense of the word. So kind & easy to talk with & non-judgemental. I have many memories of the times she & I would bump into each other @ Wegmans & catch-up about our kids. Amy & my daughter Michele were best of friends through school & still remain close. When I heard Nancy was ill I wanted so badly to see her but there wasn’t much time. As fate would have it, I bumped into her several wks ago @ Walgreens. I felt it was divine intervention & a blessing that I was able to hug her. We talked about what else, our family. I walked with her out to the car where Gerry was waiting for her. I squeezed his hand because words weren’t necessary. RIP dear, sweet Nancy. You’re watching over your family now as an angel.

Hi Jerry, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember meeting Nancy through you in September 1967 during the formation of our band. I remember her as being a wonderful lady with an amiable personality. She was always smiling and friendly towards everyone. She will be missed. I will make an effort to see you more often in the coming years. Keep the faith my friend. Tommy Bittle

I've known Nancy for over 55 years. She and Jerry were among our best and most cherished friends. Jerry and I started our teaching careers together in Gates. We became immediate friends. My wife Mary, Nancy and I used to follow one of Jerry's early bands- Gunther's Bus. Jerry and I share the same birthday and for over 50 years the 4 of us would celebrate together.
Nancy was a terrific person. She was always very complimentary and had a positive attitude. She was always honest and down to earth. She and Mary could talk about any topic and never seem to be in a disagreement over anything. She always spoke proudly of her children and grandchildren and was a very caring and loving person. She will be missed by many. My heart goes out to her entire family, especially my good friend Jerry.
Rest in peace. You are now a true angel.
