Obituary of Norman R. Reak

Norman R. Reak
1931-2023

Fairport - on November 7, 2023 Norman “Norm” Reak was called home to the Lord. He was born May 10, 1931 in Medina, NY, a son of William and Erma (Wutke) Reak. He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Barbara Reak; his brothers Harold, Carl, Raymond; and his sister Millie. Norm is survived by his sons Tim (Ellen Bressi) Reak, Tom (Camille) Reak; granddaughter Samantha Reak; and brother Richard (Nancy) Reak. 

Norm was a quiet and gentle man, a good husband, father and friend. A graduate of Alfred technical University, he also served as an electronic specialist in the United States Air Force. In his early years he shared a passion for flying with his best friends in their single-engine airplane. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and family and loved photographing the many places along their journey. Every year he looked forward to hunting in the southern tier with his son and lifelong hunting friends.

Norm‘s family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the wonderful staff and University of Rochester medical team at Crest Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center for their loving care of Norm the last three years.

All services for Norm were held privately.
