PENFIELD - Ruth A. DiVincenzo of Penfield, NY died July 16, 2023. She was born on October 10,1929, in Rochester, NY. Ruth was married for 66 years to Louis A. DiVincenzo, who preceded her in death in March 2023. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Mary Allen, her sister, Jane, and brother, Larry.

Ruth is survived by her daughters, Judith Alonzo (Russell) and Jeanne DiVincenzo (Eric Gross), sons, Joseph DiVincenzo and John DiVincenzo (Erin); grandchildren, Natalie Hart (Daniel), Nicholas Notarpole, Daniel Collins (Leah), Susanne Collins (Kevin Meehan), Chell Organa, Dana DiVincenzo and Allison DiVincenzo; great-grandchildren, Noele Hart and Quinn Hart; sisters, Pat and Sylvia and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruth was a graduate of Our Lady of Mercy High School. She volunteered with Penfield Volunteer Ambulance Company as an EMT for many years. She was a member of the Century Club in Rochester and participated in many charitable activities with them. Ruth and her husband were long time members of Oak Hill Country Club, longstanding patrons of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, and belonged to St. Joseph’s Church in Penfield, NY.

Ruth’s Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church on July 28 at 11:00 am, with burial immediately following at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
