Obituary of Thomas C Baxter
Thomas Charles Baxter
Penfield – May 24th, at age 81.
Tom was predeceased by his parents Helen and Charles Baxter of Belmont, NY. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Mary (Seelos) Baxter; his son Michael Baxter of Webster, NY; son John (Jennifer) Baxter of Randolph, NJ; daughter Jennifer Botelho (Shawn Reed) of Wilmington, NC; five grandchildren - Jake Botelho, Emma Baxter, Kameron Baxter, Tommy Baxter, and Harry Baxter. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Peter Seelos of Wilmington, NC; nieces Kirstin May and Kim Hewlett, cousins, and friends.
Tom was a graduate of Alfred State College and retired from Marine Midland Bank after a career of more than 40 years.
An avid sports fan, lifelong New York Yankee and Buffalo Bills fan, and golfer, Tom’s passion was Penfield Little League baseball. He served as a dedicated volunteer, coach, board member and President with Penfield Little League for nearly 50 years.
Family and friends may call Tuesday, May 30th at Jennings Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, Penfield Rd., Penfield, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
The celebration of Tom’s life will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, Penfield, on Wednesday, May 31st at 11:00 am. Reception immediately following.
