Obituary of Louis A. DiVincenzo
1928-2023
Louis (Lou) A. DiVincenzo of Penfield, NY died Wednesday March 22, 2023. He was born on March 12, 1928 in Rochester, NY.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Allen) DiVincenzo, his daughters, Judith Alonzo (Russell) and Jeanne DiVincenzo (Eric Gross), sons, Joseph DiVincenzo and John DiVincenzo (Erin), and his brother, Charles (Norma) DiVincenzo. He is also survived by grandchildren, Natalie Hart (Daniel), Nicholas Notarpole, Daniel Collins (Leah), Susanne Collins (Kevin Meehan), Chell Organa, Dana DiVincenzo and Allison DiVincenzo. He is survived by great-grandchildren, Noele Hart and Quinn Hart and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Carmela DiVincenzo.
Lou was a graduate of Aquinas High School and the University of Rochester. He was a member of the United States Marine Corp. He retired as Executive VP of Rochester Instrument Systems, Inc. and previously worked for Stromberg-Carlson in Rochester NY and San Diego, CA. He was a longtime member of Oak Hill Country Club and a member of its Board of Governors. He and his wife were longtime patrons of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Penfield, NY.
Louis' Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 29th at St. Joseph's Church, 42 Gebhardt Road, Penfield at 10:30 a.m.
