Obituary of Dorothy Y. Copeland

Passed away on March 4th 2023 at age 88.  Dorothy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Roy; sons, Richard (Jacqueline) and Peter (Amanda) Copeland; grandchildren, Jordan and Taylor Copeland and Alexa (Ali) Mehdizadeh; sister, Helen Blend; sister-in-law, Eleanor Sitts; nephews, James and William Blend; nieces, Carolyn Sinder and Dawn Civitano; cousins, Ruth Leach and Marilyn Spears.

Dorothy was a graduate of Brighton High School class of 1952, The Genesee Hospital School of Nursing and The University of Rochester.  She was employed by Visiting Nurse Services and Monroe Community College as an RN.  She had a true "green thumb" and a love of gardening. 

Family and friends are invited to call at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road, Penfield on Thursday, March 9th from 4:00 to 7:00pm.
