Obituary of Arthur David Charlton
Arthur David Charlton was born November 14, 1930, in Mt. Vernon, New York. He grew up in Bermuda, attended Ridley Preparatory School in Canada and graduated from Columbia University with a BA in Business and Masters in Business Administration. He retired after a 35 year career at Kodak.
David is survived by his wife, Nancy Charlton, his daughter, Jeanne Charlton Markman, and three grandsons, Jackson, Kaden, and Logan Markman. He is also survived by Nancy’s daughter, Sharon (Tom) McElroy and son, Kerry (Jill) Frey, granddaughter, Nina Frey and grandson, Joshua McElroy. David is predeceased by his first wife, Janice Cooke Charlton and brother, Ian McKenzie Charlton.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 25 at 10:00 at Jennings, Nulton, and Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road, Penfield. A reception will immediately follow services at the Braman American Legion Post #1229, 1707 Penfield Road, Penfield. (right across from the funeral home).
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project, Lollypop Farm (Humane Society of Rochester), or the First Church of Christ Scientist in East Rochester.
