I never thought the last time I saw you at church would be the last time I would ever see you here on earth, but sadly, it was. I have so enjoyed knowing you & I am going to miss seeing you rolling into church & later, chatting w/ you afterwards.
Thanks for your friendship; w/o a doubt, you were a steadfast man of God who chose not to let the circumstances of your life make you bitter, but instead, to make you better. And better you were.
I'll miss you, but I take comfort in knowing you are no longer bound by the limitations your body placed upon you so many years ago; you are now free to run & jump as you please & what more could we ask for? Nothing. You finally got your healing & I (we) rejoice w/ you for that.
So until God calls my name, I'm just gonna say: "See ya later, alligator" & leave it at that.
