Obituary of Kathleen J. Foster

Kathleen J. “Kay” Foster (Brockman) (Kudla) 

Webster – Kay passed peacefully on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at age 91. She was born on May 25, 1931 in Rochester, New York.

Kay was predeceased by her husband, Gerald E. Brockman; son, Kevin Brockman; step-son, Jerry Brockman; brother and sister, Robert Surline and Irene Cone; son-in-law, William Kudla; granddaughter, Amy Purvee (Kudla).

Kay is survived by her son, Wayne (Debbie) Brockman; daughter, Sandy Kudla; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. 

Kay was a women with a wonderful sense of humor and did not require a lot to make her happy. She loved her family, crocheting and knitting. She enjoyed doing puzzles and loved a good get-together with family and friends.

Kay moved in with her daughter, Sandy, four years ago and you could always find her watching TV with a cat on her lap. 

Kay spent the last few months at Aaron Manor Nursing Home due to an illness. She made many friends there and loved to play bingo with them.

There were a couple times the staff had to go all over looking for her and she would always be found in someone’s room laughing and visiting.

The care she received at Aaron Manor was exceptional and we feel very grateful to everyone who came in contact with Kay.

Kay was loved by her family and will be missed greatly.
