Passed away peacefully at the age of 96. She is predeceased by her husbands, George Rumsey, and David Roberts. Martha is survived by her children David Roberts, Rebecca Roberts (Geoffrey Resnick), Suzanne Roberts, and Christopher Roberts (Teresa); her stepson Thomas Rumsey; and her eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Martha was the wife of a foreign service officer and spent much of her life travelling throughout the world. Later settling in Rochester, she was involved in various clubs including the Chatterbox Club, Century Club, Junior Thursday Aid, and was a docent at the Memorial Art Gallery. Martha was a graduate of the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art History. She was an active member of Christ Church of Pittsford, serving as a greeter and delivering flowers after service. Her love and grace were felt by everyone who knew her.
