Gail H. McElroy 

January 9, 1941 to August 6, 2022

Predeceased by son, Kenneth James Haase and parents, Irving and Irene Heisner. Survived by her loving husband and best friend, Jerome McElroy; sons, Donald and Martin Haase; stepchildren, Terence (Kathleen) McElroy, Colleen (Robert) Regelsberger, and Carrie (Susan Salisbury) McElroy; six grandchildren, Jacob and Zachary Haase, Daniel McElroy and Emily (Anthony) Baker, Sara and Shannon Regelsberger; brother, Thomas (Allyson) Heisner; niece, Amy Heisner and nephew, Thomas (Meghan) Heisner; Donald Haase, father of Donald, Martin and Kenneth as well as other family members and friends.

Gail was a graduate of Franklin High School. She held a variety of administrative positions, especially in Human Resource organizations, at Eastman Kodak Company, Xerox Corporation, as well as other technology companies in the Philadelphia area, including Interdigital Communications Corporation.

She volunteered as a caregiver at Isaiah House, a hospice home, and as a receptionist at Spiritus Christi Church. She also supported the volunteer efforts of her husband at the Spiritus Christi Mental Health Outreach.

She and Jerry enjoyed camping, fishing, biking, walking, boating, and traveling including, Asia, Central America, as well as many states, including Hawaii.

No prior calling. Gail's Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, August 27, 2022 11AM at Spiritus Christi Church, 121 N. Fitzhugh St., Rochester, NY 14614. in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Spiritus Christi or Isaiah House, 71 Prince St., Rochester, NY 14605 in Gail's memory.
