Obituary of Susanne S. Prestianni

Susanne (Sue) Prestianni, nee Smith, passed away July 17, 2022, aged 81.

Predeceased by her husband, Vincent Prestianni; parents, Albert and Margaret Smith; and brother Albert (Sonny) Smith. Sue is survived by two children, Philip (Louise) Prestianni and Lisa (Wolf) Prestianni; and one grandson, Sam Prestianni.

Sue was a lifelong resident of the Rochester area and had lived in the Town of Penfield for 50 years, where she was an English teacher in its school district. Sue was married to Vincent Prestianni for 48 years. The couple shared many common interests and were devoted to one another until his death in 2015.

Sue loved her family and maintained many friendships from all stages of her life. She was an avid reader, and liked playing bridge, traveling with her daughter, going to the movies, crossword puzzles, and watching Jeopardy- she invariably knew the answers.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 43 Gebhardt Rd, Penfield, NY 14526.
