I remember moving into the neighborhood(to out home on Bridle Lane) @ about age 8. Melissa was always outgoing, friendly, and made an extra effort to be inclusive with everyone. When it came to a game of hide and seek, or invitations to play at one another's homes, Melissa always had a gift of welcoming and looking after others. She had a heart bigger than most, and her love was endless. I will forever cherish the school days as the “new kid”, and Melissa sought every opportunity to ensure everyone felt a part of, and no one was every left out. Melissa may the love of and for you, strengthen those whom struggle in your absence. May each and every smile, sunrise, beautiful rainbow, and every joy be a constant reminder of the profound happiness and pure joy~ Melissa brought to life and those whom were blessed to be called her friends & loved ones. Melissa loved more than most, and sought to better life anyway she could. She was selfless and truly a blessing to all. May the memories you cherished give you strength and daily remembrance of a truly special woman, sister, daughter, and beloved friend……Melissa.
