Obituary of Winifred R. Kearney

Winifred R. Meagher Kearney of Penfield died September 28, 2008 at age 90. Predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, Jack in 2007. Winifred is survived by her children, John (Jeanie), Dennis (Randy), Sister Jody Kearney RSM, Mary Catherine (Christopher) Levitt & Patrick (Anne); grandchildren, John & Gretel Kearney, Harrison Okan, Patrick, Lillian, Winifred Rose Levitt, Nathan & Brendan Kearney; brother-in-law, Richard (Peggy); beloved nieces & nephews. Her vibrant personality, gentle spirit and good natured Irish wit will be greatly missed by her friends and family alike. Family will receive friends Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 4:00pm 7:00pm at Sisters of Mercy Motherhouse, 1437 Blossom Road where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the chapel on Thursday at 10:30am. Interment White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may consider a donation to the Sisters of Mercy, 1437 Blossom Road, Rochester NY 14610.
