Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Henderson

Entered into rest on June 30th after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer. Liz was predeceased by her husband Paul, parents Daniel and Marie VerPlank and brother Donald VerPlank. She is survived by her children Robert(Jennifer) Treier, daughter Lisa Treier(Scott Oelkers) and grandchildren Brayden, Daniel and Madeline. 

Liz was an amazing woman who had a zest for life and unconditional love for her family. She touched the lives of everyone she met and  became a second mom and grandma to many.  She had the most caring heart and the best sense of humor. Her smile and laughter would light up a room.

Liz worked as a hostess for many years at Keenan’s restaurant. She then retired to take care of her grandchildren.  Missing being with the public,  Liz began working at Sunscape Farms in Penfield.

Funeral services for Elizabeth will take place on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Second Reform Church  of Marion, 3757 Mill Street, Marion, NY. Interment to follow at the Marion Cemetery. 

There will be a Celebration of Life party to honor Elizabeth following the services. We invite you to come share stories, memories and laughter with her family. Please join us at 8 Beechbrook Lane, Rochester 14625
