Dear Clouser Family, ( Neighbors/Friends from as long ago as the Cobbles Drive special place) Sometime, though not soon, there will certainly come comfort to you when you reflect on the the great respect and warm love that she earned for her whole life by just being her and by the sharing of that with you all.. Your Mom's selflessness and generosity of time, talent and treasure is something to aspire to most surely. But her fun and good humor and I must mention equestrian and Bridge talents were enviable, too! My great sadness at this time is that we were so close to reconnecting after my long absence and that now cannot be. I have genuinely missed sweet Ellen. My prayers are yours and my care for your sadness and grief right now is genuine and if there is anything that I could do I would be honored to help. Rest In Peace, dear one.

We won’t forget Ellen, a kind soul, who was at our mother’s side as she passed from this earth, a family friend for a lifetime, comforting, supportive, funny. We have so many fond memories…..Her passing saddens us deeply, and we will remember her for the loyal and supporting friend she was to our parents, and to us. Ellen was a welcoming presence at Mary Magdalene Church, always greeting us by name and sharing that light-up-the-room smile. She modeled humility and kindness, helping out in quiet ways and many places. We are saddened by her sudden passing and we wish comfort for the many people who will miss her deeply. I loved my dear friend. Always a smile, a hug, a kind word. I worked with her on our sale and she tried on a lovely jacket. She said does it fit. I said yes. Then she realized she had donated it. She bought it back. We laughed so hard.

Upon our first meeting Ellen and I realized that we had a connection through Sister Mary. We shared stories about our dogs. Remembering the two of us pulling a tarp filled with leaves from the front to the back of the church. On Sunday June 19th Ellen was sitting two pews in front of us. At the sharing of peace she reached out and held our hands. I treasure that moment. I reach out to Ellen's beloved family with that same love and peace.
