Robert Joseph Darnieder

Penfield, NY – Robert Joseph Darnieder, of Penfield NY, passed away on May 15, 2022 at the age of 71.  He was predeceased by his loving wife, Sharon Ann Baade Darnieder, parents Roland and Virginia Darnieder, and brother-in-law Jim Jacquette.

He is survived by his children Jay D. Hunter (Katie), Dr. Laura M. Darnieder, Ph. D (Martina), Matthew J. Darnieder, Emily E. Sawyer (Derek), and his precious grandson Ethan, sisters, Nancy McDermott (David) and Susan Jacquette, as well as many nieces and nephews.  

Robert was born on May 25, 1950 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  He graduated from Marquette University (1972) with a BS in Electrical Engineering.  He worked for Eastman Kodak throughout the years.  Robert was known for his love of his talking, LEGOS, and his sense of humor.  He had the ability of making friends wherever he went.  

Robert’s Memorial Mass will be held Friday, May 27 at 12:00, St. Joseph’s Church, 43 Gebhardt Road, Penfield.
