Janet E. Schmidt

Fairport - On April 12, 2022 at age 91, 4 days shy of her 92^nd birthday. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert W. Schmidt, Sr.; parents, May and Alexander Fishbaugh; sisters, Georgiana Morris, Bernice Mull, Margie Pappa, Helen Wilcox, Doris Betlem, Ruby Rothfuss and Shirley Gauthier; brothers, James, Earl, Lavern and Jack Fishbaugh; son-in-law, Claudio Apollonio. Janet is survived by her children, Robert W. Schmidt, Jr and Brenda Apollonio; grandchildren, Robert W. Schmidt III, David Schmidt, Danielle and Christina Apollonio; many nieces, nephews and special friends, including Etta Ernissee; and the friends and staff at the Northfield. 

The family would like to thank the staff at Rochester Regional Health and her caregivers, Sandy Mitchell and Stephanie Bello for their compassionate care. 

No prior calling. Janet’s Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 11 AM at All Season’s Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to an animal charity of your choice.
