We are deeply saddened by Paul's passing and send our condolences to the DiLorenzo family. Paul was such a great neighbor and friend. I know his house was one of the first built on our street so he gave me some history on the neighborhood over the years. He always offered to help in any way he could. I was lucky to know him for so many years. He truly loved his family. Let us know if you need anything in any way.
Peace and love,
Mike and Betsy Melito

Many say, "you can pick your friends, but you can't pick your family or your neighbors." However, as destiny would have it, Salvi and I were fortunate that we found friends in the DiLorenzo family as we both chose to build "starter homes" in the new Pennicott neighborhood in Penfield some 40+ years ago, while simultaneously building our contemporary families of sons. As our sons interacted socially more and more, so did Salvi and I interact more as friends and neighbors of Astria and Paul. School functions, Little League games, neighborhood "circle" picnics, birthday parties, Trivial Pursuit Friday night get-togethers, summer evening neighborhood "mommy walks" and even some friendly exercise jogs with Paul to Shadow Lake and back (about 3 miles) all maintained our friendship. As time has passed and our sons have all married and moved out of their childhood homes and as Salvi and I have also moved out of the neighborhood, sadly, we have less frequently interacted with Astria and Paul. We are shaken by Paul's sudden death and saddened by the effect that has had and will continue to have on his close family and all who knew him. Besides the legacy he leaves, Paul has reminded us just how short our lives are and that we should all constantly remind our loved ones how much we love them. Our love and compassion to Astria and family, Paulette and Salvi Ferraro

Astria I was so shocked to read the news. I am so very sorry for your loss of Paul. We are glad we met you and Paul aboard a beautiful cruise ship in what you two loved to do. I am thankful that we had the pleasure of crossing paths with you and him in this life because of that. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and family at this time. Until we meet him again on the cruise ship in the sky….. He was a wonderful man!

Astria and family, I was so shocked to learn of Paul's passing. I am still in shock. I was privileged to be part of your DiLorenzo Electronics crew and have found memories of those 10 years. I wish I were able to help with the pain of your loss. Do know though that I am thinking and praying for you and your family as well as Paul. May he rest in peace and may you all find healing in your broken hearts. God Bless and love to all. Joanne MacNeal.

Paul and I have a Long Rich History, Paul Taught me to be a better Pool Ping Pong and Chess Player. Our Mutual Love of Cars Motors and Electronics made for some really great chats. He was the Smartest Man I knew. We also LOVED Guns
Paul had a Federal Permit and Got me my first 9 mm Sig Sauer. I remember coming home from a Range near his home (a farm where the Farmer just piled up dirt to stop the rounds from killing anyone) Driving and Shooting and Hwy Signs. Who could forget Pizza Night at our home in Ossining. When Paul and Astria would come up, on a Friday Night and we All Have Pizza from Local shop. Watching Astria Blot the oil with a napkin was priceless. Praying There are Pool and Ping Pong tables and a Chess Board
and some Radios for Paul and My Dad to use in Heaven.
