Our deepest sympathies to you. Jean was a dear neighbor, great baker, sweet person. We were always so impressed with how well behaved her dogs were - even when she had 4 at one time! She loved them so. She was a caretaker and the neighbors (and even the postal carrier) loved her for that. May fond memories warm your hearts. Thank you for the card Jean. Jean was among the first to welcome me to Pleasant Way in 2014 with something homemade from her kitchen. Her walks on the street with dog in tow provided a chance to talk, always with the answer “Doing alright for an old girl!” when asked how she’s doing. I remember the pride she had in the little garden around her lamp post, keeping it watered and weeded even when it took some effort. I’ll always think of it as “Jean’s house”.
