Warren Hafner entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 with his daughter Annette Marie, by his side, holding his hand.  Warren leaves behind Annette Marie, his only daughter and son-in-law Leon Adams Jr., beloved grandchildren Leon-Ryan and Tristan Nicole Adams. He is predeceased by his wife of 26 years, June Lucille Hafner.  Warren is also predeceased by his parents, Edward Lester Hafner and Elmira Mae New-Hafner, his former in-laws, Joseph Leenhouts, Celina Leenhouts, and father in law Louis Syracuse.  Also pre-deceased by his brothers and sisters, Irene Turoski, Vincent Hafner, Bernard Hafner, Dorothy Hafner, Marilyn Simons-Sailer, and Joyce Hafner; and predeceased by beloved nephews Roger Simons, Eugene and Stephen Turoski, and niece Susie Simons. Warren is also predeceased by former sister-in-law Virginia Leenhouts, and ex-wife Concetta Syracuse, and predeceased by third wife of 11 years, Florence Hawley-Hafner. Warren leaves behind several nieces and nephews, special family friend Theresa Herzog, and special friend and dance partner Kathy Hampp.

Warren was avid golfer, who won several senior opens, a dancer at Club Remedy at Finger Lakes Race Track. He loved his first wife June beyond words, music, (especially listening to Everhart, his former manager’s band, and Branded). He thoroughly enjoyed playing the slots at Finger Lakes Racetrack and Del Lago, watching baseball, (especially the Rochester Red Wings and Baltimore Oriels). He was a true professional wrestling fan and loved AEW Dynamite and local independent shows. He loved horses and in his youth, enjoyed being a horse rider/trick rider and part of a Wild-West show.  He was most proud of his daughter Annette Marie, his spotless driving record, and that he was the oldest living school bus driver for Victor Central Schools, retiring at age 85 from driving, only to return as a monitor until age 88 years young.  He was a connoisseur of quality spaghetti sauce, eggplant and his daughter’s award winning-fig cookies. Always rooting for the underdog, his kindness, big heart, and caring nature will be missed by all.
