Obituary of Kathy Pikula
Kathy Pikula, 67, of Penfield NY unexpectedly passed away on January 7th, 2022. Born November 5th, 1954 in Lakawanna, NY, Kathy had fond memories spending summers along the beaches on Lake Erie. She attended Brockport University where she spent a semester studying abroad in Demark and traveling across Europe, she graduated with a degree in psychology. Afterwards she worked as a paralegal and in early childhood education and later hoomschooled her own children. Her greatest pride and joy were her two children, whose lives she filled with love. Kathy had a genuine personality, compassion and authenticity. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed just being outdoors through hiking, kayaking, walking her dogs or sailing with her children. She had lots of love to give and friends that claim Kathy took them in as her own.
Kathy is survived by her children, Kira Munger and Skylar Munger as well as sisters, nieces, nephews, friends, and her beloved pets. She was predeceased by her father, John Pikula, her mother Rita Maj and stepfather John Maj.
