Uncle Fran was loved by all and will be terribly missed. He was the best uncle anybody could ever hope for. Always supportive, sweet, loving, smiling, and always made you feel welcome. My earliest memory of him was when I was about 5 years old. He was walking up our driveway at 51 Courtney Circle in Pittsford to see my father, probably about business. I looked at him and in my little girl's squeaky voice declared "you look just like my daddy!" He laughed and smiled in that sweet way he does that makes a person feel comfortable and special. That moment has stuck in my mind all of these past 59 years! My next earliest memory was probably about the same age. He and Aunt Tori hosted a Christmas party in the basement of their house in Penfield. Everybody was sitting around in a big circle and somebody asked, "does anybody know any Christmas songs". Again in my childhood innocence, I stood up and said that I knew Silent Night. Uncle Fran smiled and laughed and I proceeded to sing, feeling totally comfortable to do so In front of everybody looking at me! That was one of his many gifts, making shy young children feel comfortable, confident and included.

My Father was a very hard working man. When me and my bother and sister were little he worked many hours for my Uncle Neil(his bother). I remember when I was small I would go with him to work on Saturdays when he was a supervisor. I went through many homes under construction and meet the subcontractor's. When I got older he would pay me a quarter to sweep out a house under construction. In the early 1970s he started several businesses with other business partners building homes in the Penfield area. He then started his own home building business. After many decades of hard work he retired to Florida. He was always a big support if any of his bothers or sisters were sick.
He will be missed

Craig, beautiful tribute to your father. I love hearing about the old days, especially when he would pay you $0.25 for sweeping out the houses! My own brothers have stories about having to dig ditches from back in the day. Your father was never afraid of hard work and has passed that on to others along with life lessons. Your brother,Jimmy, did an amazing job with his eulogy. (I watched online. Unfortunately I couldn't bring my dad due to his health problems). Love you cuz

My Uncle Fran
Also my God Father. Will be remembered for helping his little sister out My Mother several times over the years. He was like her Grading Angel over the years.
They both grew up together. The whole family lost there Mother at an early age. Uncle Fran and my Mother were the youngest in the Family. My Uncle Fran always wanted to write down everything that they went thru as kids growing up.He had a lot of stories. He was always looking out for my Mother and helping her any way that he could over the years. He would always help anyone that he thought needed help if he could.
Never asking anything in return. As Bothers and Sisters they all stuck together like glue over the years. They all got along. We had many Big family gatherings over the years. Uncle Fran always made you feel at home. I could go on. He was also my boss . At the age of 11 I would work around my Uncle Neil’s new homes on weekends and in the summer time sometimes cutting grass around the model homes or doing odd jobs. I could not ask for a better boss .Uncle Fran will be missed by everyone.
He just had one of those contagious Personalities.
Uncle Fran we all love you and miss you till we all meet again.
Love Gary
