Sheila J. Keeler

Penfield - Born to this life 6/24/1944, departed on 10/16/2021. She is predeceased by her dear friend, Michael Garvey; parents, Martin and Muriel (Spiegel) Keeler; and brother, Timothy. Sheila will be greatly missed by her sister, Patricia (Paul) Slyck of Gates; Godchild, Paula Ludwig; several nieces, a nephew, great-nieces, great-nephews and many life-long friends.

Sheila was a 44 year bank employee achieving the status of Vice President, retiring from Bank of America in 2006. She and Mike enjoyed traveling the globe and the company of wonderful friends and family. Her recent past-times included reading, playing cards with her new friends at Baywinde, watching British murder mysteries and time spent with family and her beloved “Garvey Girls”.

Sheila was best known for her beautiful smile and her kind, generous heart. She was truly a cheerful giver. Her generosity knew no limits.

No prior calling. Sheila's Graveside Service will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Tuesday, October 19, 1:30 PM. Her Memorial Service will be be held at a date and time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations to Hildebrandt Hospice, 2652 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626.
