Rochester – On October 5, 2021 at age 65. She is predeceased by her father, Camilo Castro. Maria is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Jose Mendez Zaldivar; sons, Jose Mitchell (Dunia Santos) Mendez and Jarvin (Anette De La Paz) Mendez; grandchildren, Jharvin and Jharvey Mendez-Santos, Veronica and Sarah Mendez; mother, Ana Rosa Fundora; siblings, Mercedes, Margarita, Martha, Eugenio and Camilo Castro; 7 nieces and nephews.
