Rochester – On June 19, 2021 at age 84. Diane is survived by her three children, Laurie (Joe Palumbo) Stigler, Alan (Cheryl) Stigler and Donald (Sonia) Stigler; grandchildren, Douglas, Kyle, Brianna and Hunter Stigler; siblings, Barbara Bagan, David (Carol) Hollowell and Stephen Hollowell; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

Diane worked at CVS Pharmacy for over 25 years before retiring. She was a proud RIT graduate. Diane was deeply passionate with researching genealogy which carried into becoming an active member of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). She held several appointments during her many years of volunteering with the DAR. Diane served the New York State Organization as the first person overseeing the Prospective Member Database. Diane served many years as Vice Chair of District VII Canandaigua Lineage Research, Volunteer Field Genealogist, and Press Book. Diane provided leadership to Canandaigua and Olean Chapters. She revitalized the Olean Chapter serving their Regent. Diane was a member of the Irondequoit Chapter, but has friends all across New York State. Diane will be missed for her diligence in pursuit of an ancestral trail.

Friends may call at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road, Sunday, July 11, 2-4 PM. Interment private. At Diane’s request, her body was donated to the University of Rochester Medical Center Anatomical Gift Program for the advancement of science.
