Obituary of Jeanne S. Hoose

Jeanne Scott Hoose - Died June 12th, 2021.  

Predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Malcolm Keith Hoose; daughter, Kristine Ryck; granddaughter, Lindsay Hoose; and sisters, Louise Young, MaryLou Storrier, and Martha Peer.  

Jeanne is survived by her sons and daughters in-law: Gary (Sally), Martin, and Brian (Cathy), eleven grandchildren: Kari (Julian) Portilla-Hoose, Ryan (Meghan) Hoose, Jonathan Hoose, James Hoose, Andrew (Kelly) Ryck, Benjamin (Julianna) Ryck, Matthew (EmilyKate) Ryck, Christopher Hoose, Sarah (Janek) Hoose, Kevin Hoose, Madeline Hoose; eleven great-grandchildren: Aiden, Maximiliano, Anna, Abigail, Gabriel, Maximus, Sebastian, Ronin, Emmett, Ryleigh, and Amelie.  

Jeanne was a retired RN, a proud graduate of U of R school of Nursing.  She remained independent well into her 93rd year.  She was much loved by her extended family, lived a rewarding life, loved collecting antiques and exploring the Adirondacks. Her family feels blessed that she was able to go willingly and peacefully to a better place.   

Her family will remember her with a private graveside gathering.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial directed to Holy Cross Anglican Church Webster, NY for St. Martha’s Guild.
